This was taken with 105mm as I took some macro this morning.

How did you get so close to the squirrel? Love squirrels.

Looks like you blitzed it with too much flash. Focussing is spot on though!

Actually, it is not that closed but I cropped it. The feather is quite reflective as using flash. Here is the actual distance.

Duh, squirrels have fur and not feathers lah. Just a suggestion, in that kind of light, maybe you can try shooting with a higher ISO without flash next time. Good cropping though.
