If you don't have the hard copy of EF Lens Work III, you can get the soft copy at http://www.canon-europe.com/Support/...ork_iii_en.asp

My apology if this have already been posted before.

I went to one of the workshop at SLS buy the some lens cleaning devices and saw him got one of my dream lens (24-105) on the cabinet for customer do testing. So i tried on my 30D. He offered me with $1350 for the lens. I am so surprised about the price. thought is 1600+-. And some more including GST.

And he try to find the Canon EF Lens Work II to show me this lens spec. After that, he asked me to come back to him on Saturday and he will give me the latest edition of Canon EF Lens Work III FOC. He said should hv stock by then.

Heh. It's a display set. That's probably just one reason why it's so cheap. Might be something defective about it, or no warranty, or something. Who knows what hidden secrets the lens may hold? Did you buy it there and then?

Nope. Don't think so. Coz he said AP selling at 1.6k above. But this is the first price he give me. I didn't even ask for discount yet.

I forgotten the name of the shop. but i got a name card in my car. Will get it and post here. He said is Original From canon and with 1 yrs warranty from canon singapore.

If the price is too low and it looks too good to be true,

it probably is too good to be true.

I'd advise you to be cautious, especially dealing with SLS people (any SLS people). A common practice is to quote you a certain price, then when you return they say they have no more stock, or something like that.

You are right. I also think too good to be true. But is a fact that he offered me this price and he know the price of others.
He even said he is one of the agent of Canon.

Obviously he would know the price of others in order to attract you.
And obviously, anyone can say anything.

Hopefully it is not from shops like Sing Bros, OP (at 6 floor) and etc.... Just be careful. Even it is cheaper, but it is still not very cheap....4digit sum of money!!!!
