I heard that it supported only until 4GB, anyone have any experience trying an 8GB in 350d?

Yes, it'll work! I'm using a Seagate Photodrive (8GB). No problem at all.

But i feel it might be abit scary to store so much in one place... If anything happens to that card...your whole shoot is gone? maybe it would be better to place your eggs in many baskets

Only prob is that if u shoot at resolution smaller than Raw, the beginning counter will show 999 and won't be able to display actual count till the capacity for the number of pics left drops below tat number. ![]() |

u can read the no. of photos shots from the playback screen...

The monochrome screen shows how many more photos you can shoot, not how many you've already shot.
