Bowens Pulsar or Pocket Wizards Plus2 for 580ex?

Hi guys,

i have done some research. heard a lot about the Pocket Wizards. Unfortunately, they have been banned in sg( according to the guys at cathay and ruby photo).

Heard that Bowens Pulsar is also comparable to the Pocket Wizards. Their pricing is similar.

Wonder if anyone has any experience with the Bowens Pulsar as a radio trigger for 580Ex.

P/S: i have kinda ruled out elinchrome skyports simply because cathay do not sell the transciever, instead they only sell the transmitter and reciever as a set, which is quite silly IMHO. cos if i wana get two recievers, i would have to buy another transmitter.

The twin pack cost 600SGD. ie. 300 bucks a piece.

can prob save abt 100SGD if you order from BnH
