S2 pro compatibility with 4GB CF card?

hi, i just bought a 4GB CF card to use with my lovely s2 pro, but then, it appears card cannot be initiate... is it s2pro cannot use with 4gb cf card?

unfortunately only maximum of 2GB cf cards are supported.

ok i just learnt a trick after hours search over the net and found in dpreview, one of the guy actually reformat the 4GB CF card to FAT 16 / 64KB per cluster. I tried that, and yes, it works!

i just copied 300++ of raw files into the CF card, tested on my cam, yes! yes! i can view them, and i shooted about 30 frames with it, everything is ok and seems normal!
