Fustrated

I have started to join this forum after experiencing a very bad situation in Penisula Plaza today and was encouraged by other shops to publicise about this shop all over the internet. But i need to take down the man's pic (will upload the man's pic once i can secretely snap a pic of him). I went into Worldwide Cameras Centre at Peninsula Plaza #01-38 to check out digital camera bag's price and also to browse around. I was holding my own digital camera (with the pouch) in my hands and saw similar pouch being sold there, so i asked the assistant (a middle aged uncle) about the price. He saw me holding my camera pouch and he asked me how much i bought it. I asked him for his price and he stated the pouch is $15 (when you can actually get it at $9.90 at Challenger funan). Later he know about the price and he twist his words to: we will reduce the price to $9.00 when customer asks for discounts. Then he ask also never ask me for my permission and snatch my digital camera from my hands and start to open my pouch and check my items inside. SO RUDE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I hoped someone who have experienced similar bad experience from this black market (ah beng shop) can snap a pic of the assistant who served you and post it here or to my email address at computer.alien2004@gmail.com where i will start a blog on this shop!!!
I complained about this incident to other shops and one shop told me to search the internet for that shop and can see many complains about them cheating tourists and our own singaporeans!!!!!!! So that's why i am here today to rant about them.

the shop assistant got hair or not hair? wear spec or no spec, fat or thin?

Nobody should even step into the shop... i dunno how they survived & remain open till now after all these years.

Yes, I knew about this shop... I discovered their attitude some years ago over an enquiry. I drew my verdict on them by their curt reply - and NEVER recognized them as a photography shop ANYMORE.

They probably have links with the underworld. The store is just a front like many others in SLS and SLT.

This shop has a 'reputation' here too. Do a search and you can see that some of our fellow CSers have complained about them too. We would normally visit our 'regular' shops only.

The best thing to do is to visit our regular shops that are posted in CS. Safest thing to do.
