If he is flying to Afghanistan instead of The Heavenly Gate they will be the airport welcoming him. But the landing strip is not made for paper planes there.

eh it's like only in singapore that people like to have all sort of funnnnnyyyy terms like
heartlanders (wtf?!?), elites (wtf?!?), stayers/quitters (wtf?!?!?)
come on lah stop defining ourselves by terms. Singapore is so small yet got so many different sort of categories.

I am Singaporean, no need to add on the race/religion/incomelevel/educationlevel groups to define myself.

Elite is the name one adopts for oneself to make one feels special among the rest. It's the syndrome of the inflated Ego.

If Elite-ism is so entrenched in our nationl pychic and moral fibre, it would be befitting to have an "Elite Hawker Award" in every township.

if you meet the people who can be considered to be the best in the nation, you will find that they don't define themselves by calling themselves *elite*
it's only the insecure people who are not at that level who tend to brand others as such, or to brand themselves as such
It's not the syndrome of the inflated ego. it's the syndrome of the wannabe-ego.
