2nd hand F30 or Brand New F31

Hi all,

Got a deal from a friend wanting to sell me his 2nd hand F30 @ $250. But brand new F31FD cost $499. Hmmmmmm......

I'am a newbie in photography.
Getting this camera to shoot pic for my baby boy.

Need advise, like should i pay more for better capability in F31FD? If my friend's F30 condition is really good, issit worth?

the onli diff between f30 n f31 is onli the face detection thingy. since ur fren is willing to let go f30 at 250, a very attractive price, u should get fr ur fren instead. wat abt the warranty? still on?

i will accept your friend's offer.

As delfichoc mentioned, the only different is Face detection.

If FD not a must for you, go for F30

ANother option is brand new F20 @S$299. A great cam

My friend jus got back to me. His F30 still under warranty and giving me 2 x 1GB card and xtra batt. Guess it's good deal ba.

yep....$250 is more like used F10/F11 pricing, no warranty, only 1 memory card.
