    expect more inflow of work force for the next few years cos of the new IR, etc...
    which will drive rental higher and higher..

    and trend from government is that they will differentiate the treatment between citizen and PR. which means, likely they won't help PR ..

    which means, expats have to ask for higher pay to survive...

    plus the population will be going to be 6.5million in 10yrs time n another 2million in medical patients, we are goin to be medical hub, educational hub population, sports hub n etc ....definately going to increase in population....... so when demand is there what u think the supply goin to be? n the price?

    The condo rental has been falling continuously for the last 10 years, only this year the rental goes up, but still not yet reach the same price in 1997. Those older folks or expats should know...

    Yeah... for the past few it have been the rock bottom so it seems quite natural n the way to go is upwards for the rental.

    All the while we are living in a 1st-world with 3rd-world lodging cost so cheer up we have yet to reach 1st world cost!

    Singapore is going to become just like any other major cities in the world n comparing the price of hongkong, tokyo, mumbai, shanghai, etc.... we are still very much affordable, thats why the people over the other cities are coming to singapore to buy properties by the floors, blocks n buildings!!! Just like we go do marketing like that!
