I think nice if crop to show only the child, his eyes are very captivating.

hi gooseberry,

perhaps you'd like to tell us more about yr foto i.e. how you approach yr subject and what makes you wanna take that shot. You can also tell us briefly on yr image editing process.

Hi... ermm... just an opportunity shot. Was walking around this "setup" village and noticed this little boy, saw that he was about to notice me too and quickly lifted up the camera, framed and took the shot. As for processing... just some multi-zone curves to adjust the contrast to my liking and enhance the colours, some sharpening, then my usual standard web resize and sharpening action (this one is a one size fits all action for web display), so may look a little oversharpened, but alright for web display

Really like the photo too. The expression on their faces is so beautiful. But it's a bit too oversharpened I think. BTW, what's a "setup" village?

Thanks, glad you liek it, yeah, my web resize action has a final sharpening step which might be too high for certain images. A "setup" village is one of those villages where the hill tribe people didn't actually live in that village but somewhere else (when the tourist groups leave, a bus probably comes along and pick them all up and take them away)
