Thread: Lonely in the hill.

    Default Lonely in the hill.

Hi, I shot this interesting lonely hut on a hilltop while cruising down Lake Asahi in Japan. The hut gave a very lonely feeling to it but I wonder if I did it justice with my shot. Please feel free to give pointers.

    My 2 cents:

The overall composition is uninteresting. For shots like these where you have a focus point, try to use leading lines or foreground interests to accentuate your picture. The hut is too small to be noticed and your hut is right smack at the centre. Try placing it in thirds. Decide if you want more of the sky or more of the landscape.

hmmz.. how abt a tighter crop? i think there's too much space now, so the house doesn't seem like the focal point.
