I was told that too. That sometimes, you get a not so fresh smell of the sea.

    I guess, I will discover.

Is your 24th Avenue house very close to the sea? Maybe not, I guess, since land reclaimation have pushed many houses further inland. Two decades back, Ponggol Seventheen Ave (PSA) was still very close to the beach. In fact, some of the houses had short steps that led down to the beach. I remember staying at one of those chalets by the sea and the during high tide, the water just reached the back of the chalet. You could literally throw a fishing line while resting at the patio of the chalet.

Yes it was the good old days when you could prepare the fire and hooked the jumping fish right into the flying pan.

But now Ponggol is full of roaming shooters with their expensive dslr and fast lenses and their $120 an hour gorgeous models.

I think its better to go there do some field survey 1st.

Some parts of punggol will be affected by aircrafts taking off from paya lebar airbase.

    can be quite noisy.

Yes, I did my fishing while resting at the patio of the chalet but somehow my fishes didn't land straight into the frying pan.
