Geckos.... This reminds me of a particular gecko that's residing under one of my chairs in my house.
Originally, this gecko's pretty small. But as it started eating up ants (my house is officially 99.99% ants free! Yeah!) it became fatter and soon became a PR in my house. Rather fat, occasionally comes out to crawl. When we spot him, or his tail and we get up, somehow it will feel vibrations on the ground and dart under the sofa to hide.
Its not deadly, more annoying. And its rather quiet (doesn't make dat stupid chriping sound) so unless it comes out to crawl, we dun really see it.
Now... wondering shld I do something abt removing that annoying chap or just let it stay until it can upgrade from PR to Citizenship in my house....
Not exactly, cos during the 3days your house will be full of poison fumes. Lastly after the 3days when you come back, open all the windows to air your house and sweep away all the dead stuff lying ard on the floor.
You'd surprised, you place will be totally free from these pest for a long period.
I've tried this method at one of my dad's rented units after the last tenants moved out and the house is full of termites. After the 3days, I found the walls stick full of dead termintes, 3 mountain heap of ants, ard 40+ cockroaches and ard 20 geckos + some many other different species insects.
Need no troubles, boiling water, spray, etc...

I leave the geckos alone. They eat other insects, so they are not bad. I just kill those roaches with insecticide. Actually, I think geckos are cute.
I remember a story my brother told me. He got up in the middle of the night to drink water. He filled the cup and drank a few gulps... then he took a break and looked into the cup. There was this gecko under the water! He said it was breathing because bubbles were coming out of its nostrils!
Wonder if there's a way to actually 'selectively capture' Geckos in just certain spots.
I juz wanna do Gecko extermination in my kitchen (since they dun eat Roaches). Da chap under my Sofa can stay. All the rest can go.
Don't you know lizards are good luck? Why kill them? They help keep the house free of flies and mosquitoes.
leave the alone...
do not play with their tails, it can kill your ears.
The lizards in my house have evolved, they dun eat mosquitoes.
There are no mosquitoes anyway.
But the nightmare of them dropping onto you when you're asleep is more than enuff to get rid of them.
