    I personally feel that that darker portion on the left side is drawing too much attention. It kinda gives me an "unbalanced" feeling.

    I would have preferred a compostion that included less of the darker areas, like this:



    What do u think?

    ya, agree with u, your version works better (cleaner and focused),
    it just a bit strange with the coconut trees chopped off. Thx a lot for sharing your view.

    I tried to playing with the pic again and satisfied with the vertical version.

    Yup, I felt a bit strange looking at the chopped-off coconut trees as well. At first, I was thinking of leaving the leaves (no pun intended) of the trees there but the aspect ratio, upon cropping, looked kinda weird.

    Guess I didn't think of cropping it to a landscape orientation. Perhaps I'm too used to seeing sceneries in landscape orientation.

    Now, if only we could see the complete outline of the 2 trees, it would probably be even better.

    Anyway, good work!
