LTM is screw mount. The lens mount is actually screw threaded. That means you screw the lens into the camera like it was a giant screw. Early Leicas, and some Bessas use this mount. Advantage of this is that you can get a L to M adaptor to make it into an M mount.
M mount is a bayonet mount that was launched with the M3. M mount lenses have the ability to bring out the correct set of framelines in the viewfinder. Last edited by Ansel; 22nd May 2007 at 03:50 PM. |
