Photos from the city area outing
Trying out my TTV through the viewfinder setup. Shot through a starflex camera. Realise this cannot be done lomo style, requires patience to shoot, some of my photos are distorted. It has very bad DOF! Toffeespin with holga camera ![]() |

TTV means Through the Viewfinder
Basically using your camera shoot through another camera, usually a old tlr camera with a big viewfinder. Popular TLR (twin lens reflex) camera include Lubitel, Kodak starflex, duaflex, basically any TLR with a huge and bright viewfinder. These have square viewfinders, althought i am still looking for a oblong shaped viewfinder... know of any TLR cameras with that shape? Ask me why would anyone wanna shoot through another camera, well why would anyone wanna shoot a lomo camera? who knows, it just looks weird and cool. Here's my camera ttv setup Version 2. http://forums.clubsnap.org/showthread.php?t=272923 I am modifying it soon, coz this setup doesn't work for me. its too slow and it has rather bad DOF. Tune in for TTV version 3. This TTV setup is too clean, i have to let more dust and grit settle into the camera. More information and examples can be found here http://flickr.com/groups/throughtheviewfinder/ |
