why don't make the depth of field deeper so can see more of the bug?

Agreed with ramboo24. May share what is your setting on aperature? Better to have f16 and above.

Nice BG and composition.

Going with your topic title, maybe a closer crop showing the prey would have a greater impact? Just some 2c.
