Default BTY rechargeable batteries

hi recently bought a set of 8pcs AA 2500mha and 8pcs AAA 1000mha rechargeable from ebay.

I first charge the AAAs first using a GP2300mha 16hrs charger. It indicated a full charge about 3hrs plus later. Anyway been doubtful I let it charge for another 3hrs...

After 6hrs total, I tested it using my mp3. To my surprise it indicated only 50% full??? Anyway never expect much from a third party battery. Continue to use as normal, to my surprise the battery want under low batt mode in less than an hour

Just like to know has anyone bought this brand? Do you encounter any problems with these batteries? thanks

thanks Artosoft so far I have charge the AAA for the 2nd cycle... so far still the same. Anyway will try to charge a few time and see how. If still the same than will consider those "smart chargers" with separate channels and refresh function...

Agree with you.

Rechargeable battery have limited rechargeable times. Said it is 500 times or 1000 times. Used rechargeable battery may only left 100 times or 200 times more rechargeable times. Provided previous owner exercise good charging practice.

Slow charger is better than fast charger as it can prolong rechargeable times to its max.

Arto.

I also bought ~20 BTY and BDY batteries. they are low quality ones. my Sony charger indicate that it damaged. I chaged it in a slow GP charger and after ~10 hours one of the batteries started to leak. i tested several batteries.

dont buy it!!!
