Lower Pierce Reservoir: Sac Spider Series

Had some time off in the pm today, and went down to take some shots. Spotted this huge Sac spider on the railing! About 5 cm wide with the legs spread, but the body is about 1.5cm long. Very shy, and when I spotted it, it was laying on the railing. After a few shots it hid under the railing.

BTW, saw 3 other photographers there with their hugh bird lens!

FZ10+Raynox 250 or Nikon 6T+Sigma CU, F8, ~1/60s, ISO 50, 2 diffused flash, handheld

I believe its the Slended Sac Spider

The large spider was at the place well the old fella was resting with the radio on!

Nothing to be ashame of Bro. Any tools that can get the job done is a good tool. I'm the one with the "Radio" (HP actually) bird calls. Used to look at yr macros when I was picking up photography last year and did learnt something from yr photos.

Anyway, interesting to see you birders shoot! And the bird call HP was interesting!
