    hi, just want to check whether will the quality of the pictures be affected if i mount on a hoya hmc uv filter followed by screw on a hoya normal circular polariser? diameter 77mm. thanks

    In general, if you stack more glass, be it extender or filter, picture quallity will go down.

    yup. i would suggest u unmount the uv filter first. more layers of glass in front of the lens can cause increased lens flare too.

    Well.. 2 things can happen.

    If the filters aren't slim enough and you're using a wide angle lens, you may get vignetting.

    And the reduced amount of light which will pass thru.
