Good idea but please, no more "Upz... " If there is nothing to say, no iterest let the thread die. Let others decide if it should bump up again or not. If mods think it is interesting, they will make it sticky, but I do not agree with any meaningless comments that bumps up the thread to the top, especially if it comes from TS.
Here is a list of links to mt DIY threads on CS so far. http://forums.clubsnap.org/showthread.php?t=252504 This is about Canon flash cord used on Olympus, extended with a PS2 cable. http://forums.clubsnap.org/showthread.php?t=252149 This one is about an easy DIY diffuser for the built- in flash. http://forums.clubsnap.org/showthread.php?t=264305 This is about how I modified an extension tube. I think all the three above can be implemented for other brands also, not only Olympus. |

ok, here is mine. A simple paper bag lined with bubble wrap and a piece of sponge at the bottom. I put this paper bag into my normal back pack when I bring my cam to the office. Not thinking of the Tamrac adventure series anymore,(for the moment)

take a empty toilet paper roll and put it in your camera bag. when you are out shooting with the great big sun, use the toilet roll as a glare buster and you can view your nice pictures on the LCD screen.

So you can dismantle the lens one-by-one to clean them from fungus.
Another method is to file a long nose pliers, but the disadvantage of long nose pliers is that it sometimes slips
