Hi F20 users,
Would like to check with you if the sound that comes from half pressing the shutter button ie.) when focusing produce some loud mechanical sound. Also the time taken to focus on an object tends to take more time as compared to when I last used a Canon S3IS. If you set your AF to always on, then there will be constant mechanical sound due to the lens trying to focus all the time. The sound i hear is much louder as compared to Canon. I read somewhere that this is a known issue. Would like to check if you guys and gals are also hearing the loud mechanical sound when focusing. Time to focus also feel slightly longer. |

hmm then when u focusing the object that time do you hear the mechanical stuff inside the lens or body adjusting before locking the focus ?
Maybe need to be in a quiet place to hear it more clearly. I was playing with the camera in an office environment. |

S3IS uses USM motor, so the noise will be much lower.

I fine the sound level is fine and acceptable.
I just love the F20, it's a great a performer for the price. The performance is great and I always have it in my pocket. |
