!) 2nd PDF camp( naval training school/old yatch club )-personal experience.
Pillow kena pull.then blanket kena pull, all the while 'frozen' cannot move, we were all sleeping side by side at the balcony. Camp mate freaked out and start attacking me for no reason. ( I let him sleep hospital for 1 month for trying to throw me off the 4th floor.) On night patrol with friendly neidhbourhood dog, then he started barking at nothing infront of me and ran away. Naturally, I FOLLOWED!! Just but a taste of what happens in there.

    Pulau Brani-personal experience.
If ever a singaporean director wants to film a spook film, the place wins hands down. There is a cordoned off area where a few old colonial bungalows sit. One of it the balcony has a hundred foot drop to the abyss. It is rumored to have hold corpses. Just thinking of the place gives me the "chill". The supernatural there don't give a **** about subtleness!

    Pulau Ubin-personal experience.

Maybe u r referring to Tengah Airbase. A fren of mine driving back to camp..........that stretch of road is surrounded by cemeteries left side and the right side of the road, he told us when he got back to camp, he saw some figure standing along the road. Something like what you described.........

Anyway I think Tengah Airbase damn "dirty" everytime 7th month, sure got representative from the major religions come to the base to do some chanting and praying........

    Lots more story to come..........

i dun think he is, Hillview Mansion no longer exists. It's been demolished, only left the gates which are interesting, and yes the neighbours still call the cops when they spot people hanging around the gates. Hehe

There's another story of another house/mansion in bukit timah, with the interior untouched, the versions i heard are the house being haunted and there was a murder case as well in the past, left untouched.

ok.. here's my share of my spooky place. My sec school used to be the old victoria boys school(the building next to jalan besar stadium).

It was used to hold japanese base camp and the field was where they chopped the heads of anti-jap people.

Camping in sch at nite sometimes gives me the creeps. Esp the small corners and long corridors....

Now People's Association is going to use the building, juz waiting to listen to their stories.

35SCE still ok.... until u head down to the training area at the beach there.

Anyway, I was at Seletar Camp (other units located way in), I'd experienced where my camp's dog suddenly ran out from the guardroom and barked at the empty gate furiously. When I scolded the dog, a strong gust of wind blew and rustled all the leaves until I stopped scolding the dog, apologised and prayed around. Den it stopped in an instant.

There's another occasion when I just reached camp for weekend duty when my colleague asked me, "Eh? I thought u came much earlier?" I said, "Hey, I juz came only."

Later he told me that he saw me walking around, as usual, in singlet, berms and slippers around, shuffling my feet as usual and walked around to the back where 'I' simply disappeared and he did not see 'me' until he saw the real me.

There's one time when all my colleagues ran out for supper and I was alone at camp when I heard someone calling my Chinese name at the outside of the gate. Went out and saw nobody. When I heard the same voice calling my Chinese name (none of my colleagues knew what my Chinese name was) again at night when I was sleeping, I saw... a dark shadow at the gate moving around.

There's one more time when I was resting when I woke up suddenly, heard that there are lotsa ppl moving around and chatting outside the guardroom, I went outside and the moment I opened the bedroom door.... NO MORE VOICES! When I closed the bedroom door, the voices gradually came back. Later I told my Mum abt this and she asked me what language did I hear, I said, its like a mix. Sounds like Hokkien, Teochew, Hakka, English, Japanese and a whole host of mixed but familiar languages. She says its 'those things'.

And the final one, which is the saddest, occurred right before I ORDed.

My camp dog had to be sent away for some reasons. When I was sleeping that night, I suddenly smelt a dog smell, very familiar... and felt a warm and slightly damp licks on my hand. The smell slowly faded away, bit by bit......

The next day, a new shift of RP guards came to takeover duty and tried to find the dog, I told them don't bother. The dog is gone.... for good.

The beach area? My Dad was stationed at the Coast Guard Base for over 20yrs until he retired, u can hell bet he's got more than a fair share of personal experience.

He was near that beach area where usually defaulters do their defaulters parade by marching up and down until some of them went into the sea. And guess what he heard when he was near the beach area?

People marching, water splashing (not those like waves or the water hitting the boat, but when u do a double-quick time march and march straight into the water splashing those kind!!!!)

Actually, to see these things, you have to be really 'suay'.

Just to share an incident which my aunty experienced. My aunty lives in Commonwealth and there was once, she was preparing dinner in the early evening, the sun has yet to set then (The kitchen of her block faces the kitchen of the block opposite hers) she looked out of the window and saw a lady walking into a wall. She was shocked and it has been disturbing her. She dare not looked out of the window after that incident and she has moved to another unit within the same vacinity thereafter.

Not sure if anyone knows that a condo at the foot of Mt Faber now used to be a school and before the school was established, it was a Castle. Yes, I said Castle. Apparently, there was a tragic story of the princess who stayed at the castle and teachers who had taught in that school had encountered sightings. Apparently, when the school was build, the castle tower was not tore down but was converted to the Principal and teachers' office and a classroom. And during the time, when it was a school, the toilet was in a small building at a secluded corner. It was always very dark in the toilet although there were lights and behind the toilet there was actually a tombstone and there were rumours that the tomb belongs to the princess. Not sure if it's true but that place sure gives an eerie aura before the condo was build.
