hahaha Hwachong (my school) won.. =D close fight though... yah eugene u're right... i wanted to capture expression... Love this shot cos it essentially captures almost every aspect of the game: players, referee, supporters =D...

It is obvious you are on the RED side I don't see many (or any) photos of the black team

I would prefer the shot when they were going to smash the ball, rather then tipping the ball over the net. Maybe more impact.

The angle of the shots are not ideal... IMO... I think slightly lower or at the court level might be nicer.

Eh i think this one was a smash... Just that angle wise and the shadow makes it look like a tip hahha...

Court level dangerous wor... Cos very close to action balls fly everywhere... I do have some @ court level @ my blog though... But thanks for the insight will try out more next time

That's the most fun part about the shooting, dodging the balls machiam poisonball in pri sch...

And you or your friend has one heck of a clown of an over-gaffered 430ex. take off the tape before the whole thing becomes too sticky, literally...

heh... I not scared ball, is my BELOVED camera that is scared of the ball... Mind u i using 300D leh... Not 1D... HAHHAHAHAHA... Hee, my 550 is quite well gaffered as well... Will be changing once in a few months la... =D

OH which batch were u from? Yeah hwachong is a place that will remain etched in every single one of our memories cos of the school, the people and the fun that we had/have. Best years of my life so far i must say, alth sometimes it's full of **** too hahaha =D

i was from 01s63. back in those days when we had 2 class benches.. and sometimes we even spilled over to s72's classbench . hahah :P

hahahaha =D i was using a 70-200 f/4 L for tele shots and Tamron 17-50 f/2.8 for wide angle. Quite a good combo =D wish i owned a 70-200 2.8 though hahaha =D
