Default Green Crab Spider Feast

Other than the other shots, I manage to see the Green Crab spider (GCS) feasting on the leafhopper/planthopper? As there were many of these leafhoppers, it is a matter of time where they land wrongly and right on the leaf where the GCS is waiting. Saw 3 different GCS feasting on the hopper!

i was bitten by this spider about 10 years ago and amazingly its venom seems to be not something to joke around.

bitten on my neck whilst sitting under a tree, slapped it to death after i felt the pain behind my neck, felt my eyes watery and itchy then went for a nap, woke up about 3 hours later hardly able to open my eyes at all as they were so puffy as though u've been punched a couple of days ago. My friends have to send me to hospital (i was having on holiday in Pulau Langkawi then) have to have an anti venom injection after which the swelling went down later in the night.

the pic of the spider give me the creeps now. I would have felt better if only it had given me some spiderman skills but so far nothing as yet. haha

Yes, all spiders have 8 eyes except a few species.

These were taken at the playground at henry park apartments. Taken from 1730-1900hrs. No specific timing.

Wow, did not know that this fella is poisonous. Looks quite harmless. Glad you recovered!
