HS_V3 and Finepix studio Raw Conversion

Using the same setting, me converted the RAW file using HS_V3 and finepix studio. U can view the pics at

IMHO, there is no different in the color and image quality fm these two converters.

Conversion setting
Tone : standard
Dynamic range : 400%
Super High Quality conversion

The HS_V3 allows batch processing. Moreover, it has 3 markers - RED, YELLOW and BLUE. It allows you to tag the photo and batch process them separately.

The conversion speed is about the same for HS_V3 and finepix studio.

I actually ask abt HU previously doesn't seem anybody bought it.l toke the plunge and pay $185 from MS color, this is what I get. I find this software good enough if you are raw shooter, not as bad as people commented in other site. The output is better than any other software I have use so far.

Pro
1) Speed, much faster compare to studio on windows
2) film simulation capable shows F3a,3b, 3c instead of 2a, 2b, 2C
3) shoot raw and can extract in camera jpeg from it + can compress raw file 25mb->13mb
4) can output fix resolution or fix pixel
5) allow trimming/crop, i took awhile to figure this out
6) batch processing
7) very powerful compare feature, got some problem with the size
8) usable help file.
9) much cleaner output compare to C1 and lightroom
10) folder tree
11) good slide show
12) proper printing interface
13) can lock color tag so printing company cannot edit your color. Not try out yet
14) teether shooting not tryout yet
Con
1) cannot align + correct distortion. Knn or i haven figure out.
2) some complication on output and open in other software vis versa.
3) shortcut key virtually useless.
