Does S5Pro able to improve the writing speed when using Scandisk Extreme IV CF Card or a Extreme III card would be sufficient? I know the S5Pro has a relatively slow writing speed so I am not sure if using a Extreme IV card would be a complete waste of money over the III card.
S5Pro instruction manual only indicate Extreme III card, but Scandisk website recommend IV card for S5Pro. I confused liao. Appreciate your feedback on this .... thanks. |

personally i think extreme III good enough. not surprised sandisk recommends extreme IV since that is their latest range and more expensive.

Finally bought the Sandisk Extreme III 4G card at S$140. Probably not the cheapest in town ... but I just too lazy to ask around and compare the price

So anybody tried Extreme IV on the S5pro? Any gain in writing speed? I'm wondering whether I should get the III or the IV.

I have tried my brother-in-law's Extreme IV on my S5 Pro. Personally, I find that as compared to my Extreme III, writing and read RAF files is slightly faster (say around 2~3 seconds faster). However, it is harder to tell when I am shoot in JPEG. I would say almost similar speed nonetheless.
