Es-e28 Slide Copying Adapter

Does anyone own this?

Any comments? Is it a good alternative to slide scanners?

And does CP or AP sell this?

My nephew got one of this. Bought from Alan Photo. Allow quick scans of negatives for web viewing. No way it can replace the regular slide scanners such as the Nikon Coolscan series. Here is a sample pict.

I guess the quality maybe fine for a small print out like 4R or 5R, hopefully.

Looking for a cheap alternative to slide scanners since I do shoot slide films from time to time.

Any idea how much it costs, anyone?
