beg to differ. recently with the OP`s opening, there is a lot of people lauding it. If he is mistaken about your motive, you can appeal against and not making an attack on him. You got the infraction for your attack and I dont see that as being unfair. So far they are as fair as anyone can get.

What does the Mod team think about this whole issue? I won't blame him for being angry, shrug.

I hope it isn't just.. Give infractions until no one complains.. That'd be a sad day indeed.

-_- Why is this matter still not properly and professionally solved? Banning/closing/warning is not going to solve that problem!

From what I see, there is no prove that the TS is from or promoting OP; therefore, the thread should be opened again. That's it. Very simple. Just let the discussion carry on. If the discussion really becomes a promotion, then you can have the right to shut it down. There is nothing wrong with that thread at the moment. Give the guy a fair game.

The fully-baked Admin team believes that this issue has been blown out of proportion and strongly urge the aggrieved member to speak to us directly instead of posting in the open which will invite unnecessary and uncalled-for comments from other members who may not have the full facts of the issue at hand.

This thread is now closed. Please contact me or Jason Ho (or the both of us) to clarify this issue. Any additional/new threads started with regards to this topic will be closed upon sight and may result in further infractions being issued.

The whole issue has been discussed among the mods and SUs. If any member thinks they can outsmart us or talk their way out , then they are wrong.

Anyone who is willing to read more of the threads started by the TS , they will probably arrive at the same conclusion as us.

The thing I dislike is when things are already so obvious, people are still trying to argue their way thru.

One thing I must make it very clearly, I welcome anyone to post about their feedback on any camera shop. I can understand people choosing or prefer certain shop. It may be price, customer service or even other reasons. But starting every thread to indirectly advertising for a certain shop with a riddle (guess which shop etc..), either the person thinks that a fantastic way of avoiding paying for advertisement or he/she believes the admin team here are all not smart/intelligent enough to see thru his plot.

The current admin , mods and SU team have alot of experience in moderating forums. For most decisions, we do discuss among ourselves before taking actions.

Last but not least, I want to state, we may not be 100% correct all the time, but I am sure we are 101% sure of this case.
