i like #3 & #4. i'm such a sucker for spiders!!

it looks like a jumper of sorts, but first time seeing a 'zebra' jumper

noticed your flash ain't harsh in your shots. what did you do?

Thank you. i made my own onboard diffuser to soften my flash.

Sorry i did not take picture of it. it is just a rectangle white box made of cupboard ( to direct the light to the front) + a sheet of foam attach in front (to diffuse light).

Love the pictures..

can you share what lens were you using and whether you have any macro filters attached?

This is exactly the pics that I want to take and I am looking for the lens/filter configuration to take this type of pics.. sorry if I asked stupid questions cos I am rather new at this

No problem. For the 1st and 2nd picture, i used a olympus e500 +sigma 105mm marco + flash + diffuser. for the rest of the picts, its taken by Canon S3IS with Raynox DCR250 Marco converter with on board DIY flash diffuser.

The second one is also taken outdoor. In fact the 1st and 2nd are taken at night outside my hotel room.
