My company can handle #3: multi-cam live feed & recording for the wedding event, but Nov is kinda too far away for me to commit.

I tend to stay away from #1 & #2, but can handle it though I prefer to work with people like Samvision for that area.

Own startup...yet to establish my coy name, but should be based on DXNMedia lar.
Procured a small switcher for consideration of hassle-free & convenient setup.
Been busy doing one-man show gigs with remote cameras....but in the event that there's a requirement for manned cams, I will definitely get you guys.

I got the adrenaline kicking for live switching nowadays. :P
Something very different from video post that I've been doing for the past 5-6 years.

Hi, thanks for your reply. Just wondering what you meant by working with another videographer?

Hi Armand,

In a production for live feed, you usually need more than 1 camera to provide a good & proper coverage, thus working with another videographer is always essential.

Sam's a pro at doing events like weddings as well, so he's definitely a good videographer to go to.
I would be delighted if Samvision & I can work together to make your wedding event experience a wonderful one.

Sam & Sundazz, I got the Edirol V4 switcher for the ruggedness & compact size as compared to the other entry level switchers like Datavideo/Videonics/Focus. Though slightly limited in capability, I have no issues dealing with 3cams + 1 graphics input. The 2 frame sync is a great limitation though, but keying effects is impressive. With this mixer, I am not limited to PAL or NTSC cameras.

I've also used the Sony Anycast & Datavideo for projects and found them to be laggy for live switching with DV inputs. So I decided to go for the basic sub-$2k range that only have traditional composite input...

Let's not hog Armand's thread looking for VG.
