Default Leaving for America on the 10th!

Hello everyone, those who are PMing for help and advice, do note that I'll be away to America for 10 days until the 21st. I'll be dragging along my Pentax K10D and hope to take great photos of the Grand Canyon and the likes.

Todaloohs!

The newly opened skywalk should be interesting.

Well, to me, that skywalk just spoiled the whole scene. Almost everything was natural before that thing was built there, and I'd rather hiking down the Canyon to see more, instead of walking on that man-made bridge.

BTW, I've been to Grand Canyon three times, and loved it each time. I once even hiked all the way down to the bottom to see the Colorado River:

All photos were taken by a KODAK DC280 P&S DC seven years back.

The worst part is yet to come: You are not allowed to bring cameras onto the platform. There are security guards that will keep your bags/cameras aside before you step onto it.

Cool...enjoy your trip and take lots of photo

Make sure you sleep well though....unless you take heli.....going there by coach is tiring...back and forth from Vegas can take anything like 8hrs journey

Hmm, didn't know that. Then why them made that thing in the first place?

Oh well, my suggestion is to stay there for an overnight so you can see both sunrise and sunset During the boring daytime, just hike all the way down to the river (about 6km one way I think). Really worth it

Cheers and happy journey!
