Talking Juz got the CP5700+MB-E5700

Whoohoo! Finally claimed ownership to this digicam! Also managed to secure the last piece of battery pack from CP

Been fiddling with the cam & I really love the battery pack despite the fact that my wallet is really bleeding right now Waiting for the charger & batteries I ordered from Eastgear to arrive

I FEEL GOOD!!

congrats... hope u really enjoy your new cam & capture great pics.

Just one point you may want to take note. Many users of the 5700 have complained of poor AF speed in low light. Hopefully the newer models have addressed this issue. My colleague who has one commented on this, in addition to many 'honest' online & magazine reviews.

Still, it's a good camera... make full use of it! Love the zoom, lens quality & LCD...

Expensive battery pack you got there. i think it's about $265 right? Well, they make it that the Li-ion battery will not last that long and make consumers buy their battery grip. Smart move.

Well, I like this camera most among all the consumer cameras. Good zoom and nice pix...even night shot. Much better than my SOLD G2.

I hope I didn't make a mistake in mistaken Jadzia with someone else... then again, as I always take shelter at CP, being rain or shine... ain't really a small world if I meet everyone... isn't it??

Haven't tried out with rechargeable NiMh batteries. But it worked fine with normal AA alkaline batteries. Did you check if the screw is tightened or whether the +ive & -tive poles are placed correctly?

Somehow I turned the batteries in one direction until it doesn't turns anymore and slot it in... it works, funny, but I don't care... 6 x 2100mah rocks!!

I think I shall go for the cosplay tomorrow, but I got no flash :\
