the 2 are not really directly in competition.. for me, id rather have lightroom because 90% of the things that i need to do with my photos i can use lightroom for.

its also faster and has better filing and organisation system than elements.

lightroom rocks! but my lightroom hangs sometimes though.

i have LR, but it performs more like an advanced version of elements.

but i operate on CS2 more.... i always believed that as long as the software gets the work done. its good enough.

LR and CS 3 for me. LR for mass photo editing while CS 3 for more editing post processing.

If you have LR & CS3, no need to use Bridge anymore.
