"The National Arts Council (NAC) and National Heritage Board (Singapore Art Museum) present the Singapore Art Exhibition (SAE) at Singapore Art Museum (SAM) as part of the Singapore Art Show 2007. To be held at SAM on 2 Aug to 3 Sep, the Singapore Art Exhibition aims to provide an open platform to showcase and celebrate the creative talents of visual artists based in Singapore.
Types of works and media
Artworks in all visual arts media shall be considered for participation. Some more common media include, but are not limited to painting, calligraphy, sculpture, ceramics, batik, photography, printmaking, mixed media, installation and new media art.

To enable the Selection Panel to better understand the submissions, participants are encouraged to enclose a short write-up and/or any relevant documents of themselves and the artworks (in both hard and soft copy format).
Application forms will be made available at NAC and SAM from 1 May 2007.
The period of submission is 1 – 15 Jun 2007 (by 5pm).
