may 5th Aviva Open Men's Singles 1st Semi-final Chen Yun vs Peter Gade
Was at the indoor stadium this afternoon... was a rather exciting day and would like to share the men's singles 1st semi with you guys...
Peter Gade from Denmark... starting off rather slowly but dancing around the court gracefully...  Chen Yun from China exhibiting good skills at the net as well...  Gade returning a pass from Chen Yun  An uproar from Gade as he claims the line judge made a mistake in calling a shot wide  Gade's woes deepened... failing to win a point that would win him the 2nd set as Chen Yun's shot was called in instead of wide... This happened within a few shots of the last dubious call by the line judges...  |

story continues...
Gade continues to slog on against the judges and is rewarded by winning the 2nd set making it 1 set apiece.  Chen Yun celebrates by throwing the racket in joy after winning the 3rd and final set thus progressing into the men's singles final.  Final Score 21-15 23-25 and 21-17 to Chen Yun  Will also post some other nice shots later on this thread... C&C most welcome... Thanks for viewing! was at the finals and i saw one photographer with 2 cameras with long lens.. wonder if it's his own or carrying for a buddy  |
