$1000 for brand new G3 with international manufacturer warranty worth it?

feel like buying it esp if the contents included in the package is the same with the local ones......

to tell u the truth, it is tempting but think...
think that Canon only has LOCAL warranty... never heard that it has international warranty... otherwise, what prevents ppl from buying it from China instead of here?
If a deal smells too good, it's probably fishy...
CP was quoting me 1090 last week but this week, it went back up to 1190!

Are you talking about buying a Canon digital camera overseas or within Singapore and it comes with an International Warranty.

I don't think there's an international warranty for Canon Digital cameras. You should call Canon Spore and ask them about it.

I did, and was told international warranty is for SLRs, Lenes, Flashs, but not Digital Cameras.

And these goes the same for Canon Australia. They said they would not recogise warranty card from overseas.

hmm.....initially i told the person i want but later think think not very safe...so email them say dun want...

i also think how come got international warranty one....hee...guess too good to be true...
