Blood Donation exercise at BloodBank@HSA

just came back from Singapore's Red Cross blood donation exercise at the Bloodbank@HSA. wat was nice was dat the folks from the local Star Wars fan club - 501st Legion, and the Star Trek came down to support. this is the 2nd time these 2 groups have come together to support the annual blood donation drive - they called it Blood Wars II...

here's some pics of these folks.

this was funny becos the lady in red asked the 2 stormtroopers "Which characters are you guys... in Star Trek?" which, of course, explained the reactions of our stormtroopers...

so... will my blood group be Klingon or Vulcan?? (the trekkies sans their make-up and masks, filling up the blood donation forms)

SRC also took the opportunity to celebrate the birthdays for the donors whose birthdays are in May. group pic with one of the donors.

This is really hilarious.. Can't stop smiling to myself when I saw this.

They should be the mascots for "Blood Wars"..

Nice !! thanks for sharing... too bad i missed this event. Was still having sore throat hence cannot donate blood for the moment.

hehe.. the blood donation exercise happens quite frequently.

it was the blood wars bet starwars.sg and star trek club dat made the event interesting on sat.

i donate blood every 3 mths, but my last due date is the 1st of mar. hahaha. keep falling sick and always on medicine these days thou. having sore throat also mean cannot donate...

Nevermind, wait till you get well then donate can liao. It is the thought that matters. Anyway I am also a frequent donor and I am aiming for the Silver award.

dunno why still having sore throat after a month. whats the silver award ? i already got 9 donations i think

heh... at the rate u guys are going, i think i'll see u all on stage at the yr end blood donor's ceremony.
