Hi
Has anyone bought and use this HP G4050? I came to know this model during the CS3 seminar at Raffles Convention Ctr. I wanted to buy a Canon 9950F but the price is pretty costly at S$695.00 now and for the HP is S$469.00 in 6 colour scan at 96bit(16bit per colour) Is this the same as the Canon 9950F? And I read in clubsnap there's a new Epson 750M arriving in May, how's this performer? Can somebody enlighten me on my inquiry. Much appreciated. Thanks ![]() |

aint sure abt the Espon, but my company did bought that. hehe
I scanned it using Photo or some CD album cover, the speed is fast. As for Slide and Negative, Im sorry that I cannot provide any conclusion as it has yet to be tested out. ![]() |

I tried the G4050 to scan slide out, the image do not turn out sharp. Is it meant to be since it is been scan from such a small slide into a big image.
Hope to get clear some of my doubts, thanks. |

At this price, i doubt this is the desired quality... juz ensure ur printing is done at 300dpi.
