    for eg like the pics above... i'm not referring to diving kinda light. Do a search on the internet but mostly is diving or disco lights. Pls tell me how it looks like and how much is it. thanks!

    portable studio strobe? even normal external flash can be called strobe light...

    like the effect u can achieve like the link above? is there such thing as strobe light attach to ur flash...like sb800? sorry i din even noe how it looks like in the 1st place.....

    i believe there is some PP to be done, as for attaching to sb800? I don get you, sb800 by itself is considered a flash or you can even call it strobe/strobe light.. etc
    but of cos, flash power will not be as good as portable strobe like those used in studio...

    Actually strobe is a misnomer for studio flash. Strictly speaking, strobe is refering to a rapidly repeating light source (like disco lights). However, in photography, strobe is commonly use to refer to studio flashes.

    It is possible to replicate the effect using compact camera flashes, if you can get enough power and coverage. You may need a few off-camera flashes to do it.
