Here are a couple of random shots taken during my short trip to Redang...

Happy viewing.

You definitely stayed overnight.

I tried to take #2 and #3 scenes during the day and I got owned by the people blocking my camera. =D

It's a very scenic place, no? =)

I went via Star Cruises, got the chance to hop down to the beach area for a while only; before got fed up with inconsiderates spoiling my scenery. No overnight stay.

Was at Redang at 27 Apr (Thu that week, too tired to bother to check) for a while, managed to catch the blazing red sunset from the cruise ship; photos posted here and here.

The beaches are really something, the water is so clear! I think even some way out you still can see the bottom through the water, it's that clear.

Great shots. I wish I can capture like you did. What lens and configuration you used to capture, especially the sunset (dawn?) scenes?

Hey Clayton-Snapfish,

Thank you for your kind words. I was using a Panasonic LX2. No additional filters or accessories were used.

It was sunrise actually. The rich colour were brought out, tweaking it slightly, using the curve adjustment function Photoshop.

I am sure you can make good pictures.

Just keep shooting.
