How to frame a picture with name and photo details?

Hi all

I just bought a D80 and starting the world of Digital Photography. I just downloaded Picture Project that comes with Nikon.

How do I frame pictures and put my name on those pictures? I also want to put in picture information.

Borders. You create the borders manually using photoshop, then use the text feature to enter your name and stuff. There might be programs that serve this specific purpose, but otherwise that's how most people do it.

Just bought photoshop CS3 extended. Can someone teach me the above? i searched the net and still cant get it.

Increase canvas size.
Type in the text you like.
