Anyone tried the Fotohub prepaid package at the IT fair

My 5R package will only be availablr from 1st April!
I was not informed of that at all.

Anyway the card they gave me later also state that my prepaid package will be forfeited if I did not use them by 30 Jun 2003.
???

Again, this was not relayed to me beforehand and the expiry date was in small print on the card that i get AFTER I paid. I only realised that after I got home from the IT fair crowd madness and took a second look at the card.

I am posting here so that fellow member who bought the package know about the dateline to use up the prints and that i got no reponse after my e-mail.

All right, they reponseded today and activated my 5R print.

Not sure if the deadline still apply.

FotoHub has a current offer of $0.50 for each 5R print. This offer ends till the end of the month. Comparing this to the 5R package, would you still start using the 5R package before 1st April.

Anyway, for the $0.50 offer, it's not available online and need a minimum order of 30 prints.

I guess the current offer is the reason why FotoHub does not start their 5R package period until after the it current offer ends.

Not sure about the current package you have signed up, but this is my previous experience:

- the pre-paid package has a time limit of 3 months;
- any developments not made by that time will be forfeited.

However, there is an unwritten rule. If you, by chance, buy another prepaid package within the three months offer, the balance will be rolled over. For example, I got a prepaid package in Jan, valid till 31/3. If I am to buy another prepaid package at the IT fair (since it's b4 31/3), then whatever amount I have left (in the first package) will be extended to 30 June.

zekai, this 5R for $0.50 promotion is from Kodak. FotoHub.com, been a Kodak Express outlet, has this promotion as well.

This $0.50 offer includes both negatives and digital images! Too bad this does not cover slides.

Hmm i oso got the 5R package not knowing of this new 50cent deal...this means that the fotohub 'deal' is essentially a 'non-deal' cos you are now limited to having to pay upfront, and the price is higher, and you have a time limit to finish ur shots? hmm...how can get refund? :P but of course u get to do it online and dont have to have 30 prints :P
