can work it the other way around... protect those that you want to keep, and delete all (the others).

Just wondering why such a basic function is not there? even D70 can do that easily by simply marking all the images that you wish to delete and press delete button to remove all the marked images.

As I had mentioned. The S5 Pro is a specialized camera. It is catered for ex-film shooters like myself. Most film-shooters do not edit their photos until they are in front of the viewing table.

actually... becos the image review and deletion is so slow, either i (a)now spend more time thinking b4 pressing, or (b)just enjoy shooting, and do the deletion at home.

in case u say no space on card, just get a bigger CF card, or more cards, since the prices are like rock-bottom nowadays.

That's a great way of circumventing a problem ....................

Ahhhh..... Yes!

The S5 Pro is indeed a 'specialized camera'. I have to do many things the old-fashioned way. It is just like shooting with film again.
