Haven't posted in ages, so just something to share. Was awoken by the sound of thunder a few evenings ago, decided to make the better of it and shot this from my window.

Suppose the softness (on the buildings, the lightning thing itself looks pretty sharp to me) is because of the rain, guess you can't have everything. =D |

Thanks all for the kind words.
![]() i personally loved this picture alot (regardless of how it turns out actually) because it was a spur of the moment thing, and something i wouldn't usually capture. I spent 50 exposures and this was shot 32. After i got this one, i knew the rest cannot really compete liao lah, so went back to sleep. To answer you guys, yes the shots was composed this way (hoping like mad that the lighting would come from the left haha). didn't re-crop it, but i did adjust distortion, removed one stray thread of lighting, and colour. There were a few other nice lighting shots, but they were above the CBD area, didnt really like it, i prefer the contrast of the lighting on the empty blue sky, against the CBD's red.
