how about #3 , i myself find that the crop is too mcuh . it would be better with more sky .

For #5, because you crop a 8x10 instead of a 8x12, include more of the reflection will be better. Cheerz. ![]()

Is your original shot a larger size? It is better to have the reflection too to show the calm water. Then cropping 8x12 is better.

the orginal is a perfect reflection , but somehow i find the subject too centre . like divide the photo into 2 so i crop off some of the water . will post the orginal photo tonite

I see. For this shot, a little wider will be better. For this case, standard 8x12 if you crop away the Right Hand Side of the image, the cropping might either leave little room for the sky at the top or you might end up cropping away the reflection at the bottom, but there is enough room for the sky.
(Don't mind if I use your image for explanation, I will take it down if you need me to )See attached image ![]() (A Bit too tight) ![]() (Reflection got crop, but enough space on the top)
