    Default Singnet Modem Setting

    Hello,

    Since Singnet has refused to publish their modem settings, perhaps someone can help me out here...

    I have always used the following setting with no problems until this week:

    VPI=0
    VCI=100
    Virtual Circuit=Enabled

    WAN Setting = PPPoE/PPPoA
    Connection Type=PPPoA VC-Mux
    MRU=1500
    Default Route=Enabled
    NAT=Enabled

    ATM Service Category=UBR
    PCR and SCR left blank

    I read in some forum some time ago that these work. However, I have discovered through trial and error that if I set the Connection Type to 'PPPoE LLC', it will work too.

    I don't know why Singnet has refused to publish their modem settings. When I write in to them, they will apologise for not doing so, but they would still not tell me the setting (I really don't know why).

    Can someone tell me what is the correct setting please?

    Thanks.

    PPPoA is overall a better connection as compared to PPPoE
