The last piece of AF540FGZ from CP in the last round, I got it for $610 only. So MSC should do better on the price lah...

Just came back from JB & got my FA 50mm f1.4
As a macro lover, I have to test it's sharpness, so I attached a vivitar +10 macro (bought at US$1.25). Was hoping the +10 works on the Sears 135mm, but failed badly. To my surprise it did wonders on the FA 50mm f1.4 Resized raw shot with no pp ![]() 100% cropped with no pp (including no USM) ![]()

From what I read & hear, this is similar to the ones used to achieve 1:1 by Cosina/Vivitar/Phoenix/Promaster 100mm f3.5 1:2 macro lens. If you search ebay for vivitar 49mm +10, you may still find it.

Hi bro, you're right, this allows the 100mm go from 1:2 to 1:1. Using it with my Vivitar 100mm macro. Definitely stronger than the Hoya +4 and quite a good optic.
