http://www.flickr.com/photos/7138308...7600148703250/ My workflow : open up raw converter (Capture Nx for Nikon, Finepix Studio for S5) Nikon setting : Mode 1 Tone : low contrast saturation : Normal white balance : direct sunlight sharpness : off s5 pro setting : tone : org sharpness : off white balance : auto I saved all three files to 16 bit tiff and then compare them in ps at 100%. All these 3 pics were taken using the same len Nikon 17~35mm set at f8. |

Are you comparing them with their color ? if yes ,I perfer your D2x, maybe i like more vivid, The detail and quality of pictures can't see any different, i think only expert can tell the difference . My D200 can't differentiable purple and blue, does S5pro better ? can share your opinions thanks...

not sure, but i think some diagonal lines from the S5 ain't as smooth as those from d200/d2x (especially on the center leaf)
probably due to interpolation? |
