My 3 Days on a Cruise Ship

Oh well, it wasn't the first time, but definitely the first after I took up photography.

Many images, but don't worry, most of them are different! =)

All C&C welcome.

In chronological sequence, 25 Apr first. It rained at Harbourfront area around the sunset timing. So I.. tried candid shots because I was itchy to just photograph something.

This was one of the best I'd seen. In my mind I was swearing about how I didn't have a wider lens, and why I didn't know how to do panaromas. =/ Both are HDR photos, couldn't capture every detail without underexposing the land pieces or overexposing the sky.

Naw, I was on deck 12. Deck 12 and the little lump of land above deck 12 would be better for vantage point hehe.

That's why the ship programme so helpfully write down the timings!

Just kidding, wonder if I saw you. I saw a few photographers, hrm. And this whole group of Jap (I think, Jap) photographers with big big bazooka telephoto lens - some of them anyways, not all.

Wow...sunset...sunrise...definately worth the sacrify(sleep)....I am not sure if I am able to wake up at the wee hour

#1,#5,#9,#11 gets my vote.....but pitty the picture is a little small....set the width to at least 640 will better compliment the awsome view

#6, #7 a little too dark on my screen

Definitely worth it - you only need to sacrifice sleep for sunrise though, and not much!

I can make them bigger, gimme a moment. =D

#6 and #7.. Hrm, yeah, now that I look at it. Must have gone overboard on the gamma to bring out the sun rays.

Oi...scary lah...800 is too big...people with 15" monitor will have problem or later people complaint download speed is too slow

Should be around 0700 onwards, couldn't take anything earlier because not enough light, brought my tripod but anything requiring more than 3 seconds of exposure would result in horribly soft pictures.

Settings would be a bit mar fun to list out, but all in the range of F/11 to F/13. Most of the sunrise photos which were not HDR (I tagged those which are HDR) were shot in RAW. =)

Can check out the EXIF data in my Flickr link in my signature, yeps. Too many photos there for me to list down one by one settings, sorry!
